Creative winter holidays

The Winter holidays of 2010 will stay in our memories for a long time. What will stick in your children’s minds?

Undoubtedly, these holidays are somehow influenced by the present 2010 FIFA World Cup. Some people have decided to pack their bags and go as far away as possible to avoid the crowds and the vuvuzelas, while others are enjoying the noise and the vibe and taking in as much as they can get. No matter what your choice is, hopefully you make some special memories with your family. We know that everyone involved in activities for kids are doing their very best to offer great things over this period, and our events calendar is bursting at the seams with fun things to do. Theatre, sandboarding, art workshops, cooking, pizza baking, soccer clinics (of course) and outdoor camps are only a few examples. The City of Cape Town is also offering many activities in local communities, and we have made this overview available here.
If there’s something missing that you think we should know about, please send us an email to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or enter your event free on the events page. Over the next couple of weeks, we will be sharing some of our experiences with you here, so watch this space and enjoy the holidays!
