A beautiful, family friendly beach with lots of space, and a nostalgic walkway filled with benches dedicated to people who loved this place. Apart from pleasant water temperatures, there are enough other good things about this place, like great views out to sea for whale- watching in season, trains that pass by for the entertainment of toddlers, a well- equipped jungle- gym and a nice restaurant for refreshments and light lunches. You should bring your own umbrella as there is no shade.NOTE: In February 2009, the water in the area of this beach was found to have unsatisfactory levels of bacteria. Please make sure that you esquire with the local authorities before swimming here.
