Mouille Point to Sea Point

The walk between Sea Point Pavilion and Mouille point Lighthouse is one of our favorites for a morning or afternoon stroll. On summer days, the midday sun is just too hot and it makes more sense to grab an ice cream at Gelato’s or find a place under a shady umbrella. This area is a favorite spot for kayaking, jogging and people-watching all year round.There are many small beaches to drop in to for a play in the sand or a splash in the waves, jungle gyms and lawns along the promenade.The lovely little Blue Train offers noisy, but enjoyable little train rides for young choo-choo lovers. For the slightly older kids, there’s putt-putt and a maze for the brave. Our favorite stop-overs are Newport Deli for smoothies and Cafe Neo for baklava and coffee in Mouille Point, or an early pizza supper with sun downers at La Vie towards Sea Point.
