Child friendly with open space and children’s playground, Noordhoek Farm Village offers child friendly restaurants, free kids activities every Saturday, shopping options with kids clothing and toys and a hotel that caters for families. Noordhoek Farm Village is easily accessible off Chapman’s Peak Drive and has 4 restaurants – Café Roux, The Foodbarn Restaurant, The Foodbarn Deli and The Toad all with various offerings and kids menus.
The retail shops stock kids clothing, kids toys, an old fashioned candy store, curios, gifts and even a nursery for indigenous and other plants. Get your car washed while you relax at leisure and let the kids play in a safe, secure and welcoming family destination.
Visitors should consider an overnight stay at the child friendly de Noordhoek Hotel. 4 sets of interleading rooms and a swimming pool make children welcome.
Noordhoek Farm Village believes in the development of our children and hosts workshops and craft activities for free every Saturday morning between 10h30 and 12h30. There are even regular demonstrations of our earthworms on site every Wednesday which are available for school groups. The Noordhoek Tourism office can assist with additional travel and tourism enquiries and information on travel in the area. One of Cape Town’s top child friendly attractions.

Directions from Cape Town City Centre and Cape Town International Airport via Ou Kaapse Weg:
Travel south on the M3 highway, heading towards Muizenberg.
At the T-junction at the end of the highway turn right onto the M42 for 1.25km.
Bear left onto the M64 (Ou Kaapse Weg) in the direction of Simon’s Town, Fish Hoek, Cape Point.
Follow the scenic mountain pass for approx 9 km until the first Noordhoek turnoff to the right (M6) towards Noordhoek and Chapman’s Peak Drive.
At the T-junction at the end of this road, turn right (direction Chapman’s Peak Drive).
You will see the scarecrows and signage of Noordhoek Farm Village on your right hand side.
Turn right into Village Lane for the entrance to Noordhoek Farm Village.
Directions from Cape Town City Centre and Cape Town International Airport via Chapman’s Peak Drive:
Take the N2 highway, heading towards Cape Town.
Take the Eastern Boulevard exit and turn left
Turn left into Buitengracht Street. Continue straight, this will become Kloof Nek Road.
At the traffic circle, go straight heading towards Camps Bay.
Carry on along this road towards Hout Bay.
Take Chapman’s Peak Drive (please check if Chapman’s Peak Drive is open before travelling - call Customer Service Line 021 791 8222 for details)
Once over the drive, turn left into Village Lane for the entrance to Noordhoek Farm Village.
