Elemental Kids Holiday Event!
Come and explore the elements - a holiday programme for children between 6 and 11!
In October, the Spring Holiday Event is an exploration of the movement of water! The environment for this week long experience will be on the banks of the magnificant vlei in Westlake. The picture above is what we will see everyday in front of the club house we are using. During the week, children will explore the movement of water by watching it, swimming in it, riding on it, floating things on and in it, channeling and collecting it. Since water is both magical, essential and sometimes dangerous we will also learn how to interact with it respectfully.
River Safari
One of the many highlights during our Spring Holiday Event in October will be a “River Safari” on the vlei with Aquatrails! A qualified river guide will take the children out on the vlei for a a day long exploration of the watery environment. We will be able to watch the movement of water from our inflatable canoes, with life vests and paddles! Family members are welcome to join in.
