Le Bonheur croc farm is a CITES registered breeder of the African nile crocodile. This family run working farm houses over 6000 crocs– 1000 of which are housed in open dams on view to the public. Our guided tours are interactive – visitors have an opportunity to touch and hold a baby croc, and during summer months, witness a feeding. We welcome larger groups and offer discounts for these ( we welcome school visits! )
Le Bonheur croc farm is an ideal family destination - pre order a picnic basket, rent some fishing rods from our shop and linger in our waterfront garden. Linger in our cafe overlooking the irrigation dam and safe play areas for children. Light meals are offered - including our famous home baked croc pies! Our spacious indoor/outdoor venue lends itself very well to hosting children’s parties and offers various children’s party packages.
Le Bonheur croc farm also cater for weddings, year end functions, conferences
( conferencing halls ) and team building events.
Our on-site shop boasts an extensive range of nile croc leather articles. Skins finished to perfection, sourced from our own tannery, combines with local craftsmanship to produce a range of articles – bags, belts, wallets, shoes.

From Cape Town take N1 toward Paarl. Take exit ‘Klapmuts/Franschoek/Wellington’, turn right onto the R44. Continue over Klapmuts 4 stop. Turn left after the railway bridge onto the R45 leading direction Franschoek. Look out for our information board on the left hand side after about 5 kilometers. Turn left onto Babylonstoren Road which leads to the entry to the farm
