Our Guest Services team is always on hand to recommend the city’s best family restaurants, suggest destinations for educational excursions, and arrange babysitting services. We will gladly assist you in planning a child-friendly holiday itinerary. Excursions and activities may include the likes of: children’s parties, swimming or tennis lessons, and sightseeing visits (the penguin colony at Boulders Beach, boat trips to Seal Island and Table Bay, museums and the planetarium, the gemstone Scratch Patch, farmyards, the zoo, bird and butterfly parks, etc.). Seven distinctive accommodation wings offer a variety of 201 individually styled, elegantly appointed rooms and suites.
A world famous Afternoon Tea buffet takes place daily in the hotel lounge and is a not to be missed experience, and Planet Champagne and Cocktail Bar is an idyllic Champagne-sipping spot, popular with the slick set.
Librisa Spa is a destination day spa boasting eight oversized treatment and shower rooms, manicure and pedicure rooms, and a sun-splashed conservatory. Treatments are based on the healing power of touch and incorporate local product ranges.
We also have a babysitting service in place, but only for parents that use our Spa Facility at this stage. The cost is R125 per hour.

Proceed from the airport complex and continue in the direction of the N2 highway in the direction of City of Cape Town.
Continue along the N2 highway until the M3 highway merges to form 5 lanes of traffic. Keep as far left as possible and proceed to follow De Waal Drive.
Continue along De Waal Drive which winds its way along the foot of Table Mountain. As you pass under an overhead walkway, slow down as you need to turn left into Mill Street.
Continue along Mill Street, pass the Gardens Shopping Centre on your left. Keep in the middle lane through two sets of traffic lights. Mill Street has now become Orange Street.
On your left hand side you will see the pillars of the Mount Nelson Hotel entrance.
