My Friend Lily is an online store offering beautifully designed and well made clothing and bed linen for children. It is owned by Michele Yazbek, mom to daughter Lily.

It currently retails two brands, Powell Craft England and Nocturnal Affair South Africa.

Powell Craft is a family run business, established in Cornwall in 1962 and renowned the world over for their traditional handmade ranges and beautiful Victorian-inspired products made using natural materials - cotton, linen, lace, quilted patchwork and stitched needlepoint. ‘My Friend Lily’ stocks their children’s pyjamas for boys and girls, little girls dresses and nursery accessories such as double sided bunting and padded coat hangers.

Nocturnal Affair is a South African company based in Cape Town and started 23 years ago by sisters Lyn and Carol Thompson who realised a gap in the market for white, 100% cotton embroidered bed linen. Their range quickly grew to include sleepwear and cot linen as did their reputation for producing high quality merchandise made to last. Their range is locally produced and where possible, from South African woven fabrics. Their range at ‘My Friend Lily’ includes bed linen for single and three quarter beds, cot linen and their ever popular cellular blankets.
