Swim Baby Swim is a Cape Town based Baby and Toddler swimming school that uses a carefully created and structured program that is progressive yet flexible. Our program has been created by parents, for parents taught in an energetic and fun-filled way. We run class throughout the week, including over the weekends, just to make sure Dad also gets a chance to get wet!!

In essence the program has been designed to enhance the bond you have with your child in order to teach them how to enjoy the water and ultimately learn to swim.

After all, in all aspects of life, you are your child’s best teacher, why should swimming be any different!

Throughout the lessons we will explain what we are doing and more importantly why, this will involve very specific instructions using verbal, visual and tactile stimuli, to reinforce what we are teaching together. As your confidence grows, so will your child’s, reinforcing the bond you share.

We specialise in teaching children to swim from birth to 4 years and believe it is never too early to start. Our five stage, 50 week Baby Swimming Program, will take you and your baby on a fantastic journey of discovery (sometimes underwater too); learning the benefits of early exposure to swimming and mastering our various baby swimming techniques. We only use warm water pools (30 degrees minimum) so it is ideal for babies. Our high energy Toddler Swimming Program picks up where the Baby Program finishes off
